Beginner Classes

Pole Intro - Start Here!

Your introduction to pole dancing! It’s time to meet the pole and fall in love! There will be a warm up on the floor to build strength, flexibility, and learn some sexy floor moves such as Rising Goddess and the Flirt. Then we will head to the poles for essential pole tricks such as Fireman, Back Hook, sitting and standing! Put it together with a mini routine to strut your new-found moves!

Our levels are progression-based. Attend a few Pole Intro classes to receive an instructor recommendation to level up.

Pole Beginner

Take your skills further while increasing your strength and flexibility. You will learn more challenging split grip spins, as well as basic inversions. Intensify your tricks from Pole Intro with combination spins and one arm spins. Challenge yourself with new sits, climbs and inversions. Tricks include Hang Back, Inverted V, Scorpio, Gemini and more!

Shorts are a must have for this level.

Pole Beginner Inverts

This specialty class is for our new(ish) pole students, eager to play upside down! Providing additional strengthening, with invert conditioning, trying different inverted entries and explore lots of inverted positions beyond those offered in Pole Beginner classes.

Students should have attended a Pole Beginner class prior to trying this specialty class.

Pole Low Flow - All Levels

What makes your body move, and what makes your movement your own? This All Levels class is a mixture of pole and dance, guiding students to create their own style while keeping your body low to the floor. Providing transferable skills in body articulation and movement awareness, to develop individual expression, fluidity, mobility, technique and musicality, offering you a variety of dance and music styles. Prompted movement strings, as well as open freestyle offer the chance to creatively move in your journey.

This virtual pole class requires a home pole and will allow you to attend beginner level pole classes from your home.

Spin Pole Beginner

This Specialty Pole class is entirely on spinning pole and will challenge you by trying beginner moves from Pole Intro and Beginner levels on a spinning pole, plus a few new tricks that are specific to spinning pole such as Vomitron.

Pole After Dark - All Levels

This All Levels heels class gives you an amazing workout and brings out your confident sexy side! Learn to move with fluidity, sensuality, and assertiveness, exaggerating your body movement while building a routine incorporating spins and tricks.

Please wear leg warmers/thigh highs/knee pads as needed. Heels are encouraged!

Intermediate Classes

Pole Intermediate

This tricks class features an even more challenging warm up and tricks. Tricks progress from Caterpillar, Butterfly, Flatline, Teddy, Martini, Handstands, Stargazer, Helicopter and more.

This class is going to test your strength and your pain tolerance as you challenge yourself with tricks such as Superman, Shoulder Mount, Air Invert, Bow and Arrow, Cupid and Jade. Start developing sequencing and combinations as you link multiple tricks together.

Polestands and Flips - Int+
This class focuses on the gymnastic element of pole, designed to help you learn foundation moves from the gymnastic world. Moves include progressions for: forearm stands, somersaults, handstands, cartwheels and bridges. These movement build to handsprings, walkovers and flips!
 

This class is for levels INTERMEDIATE or higher as you must be comfortable with inversions. Not comfortable yet upside down? Also try our Acrobatics class!

Aerial Flying Pole - INT+

This class will challenge you by trying a variety of your favourite tricks from pole class on an aerial flying pole in a unique blend of pole and aerial arts. Class will focus on the fundamentals of aerial pole, including swinging, spinning and developing spin tolerance. Difficulty will increase through incorporation of upright and inverted skills and combinations.

This class is suitable for those already inverting on static pole and comfortable on typical (non-flying) spin pole.

This is a higher level heels class. Students should be comfortable with movements taught in all levels After Dark classes and be prepared for more intricate choreography.

This virtual pole class requires a home pole and will allow you to attend intermediate level pole classes from your home.

Spin Pole Intermediate

This Specialty Pole class is entirely on spinning pole and will challenge you by trying all your tricks from Pole Intermediate on a spinning pole plus a few new tricks that are specific to spinning pole such as Vortex, and Upside down Vomitron.

This is a higher level heels class. Students should be comfortable with movements taught in all levels After Dark classes. Platform heels and knee pads are required.

Advanced Classes

Pole Pre-Advanced Tricks

You must have a solid Superman, Shoulder Mount, and Climbing Caterpillar for this class, as there are many Superman combinations, and Shoulder Mount variations, including Reverse Shoulder Mount. You will also learn handsprings, elbow grips – Ayesha and Straight Edge. Other moves include Allegra, Brass Monkey, Birdsnest, Dangerous, Sad Girl Drop, Secretary and many more!

Pole Pre-Adv./Advanced

This split level class offers students options for each move to both Pre-Advanced and Advanced level students. Push yourself to master moves from your level while being exposed to new moves from a higher level or having a chance to perfect the moves from your previous level. This class is perfect for students pushing themselves to progress their pole tricks.

Polestands and Flips - Int+
This class focuses on the gymnastic element of pole, designed to help you learn foundation moves from the gymnastic world. Moves include progressions for: forearm stands, somersaults, handstands, cartwheels and bridges. These movement build to handsprings, walkovers and flips!

This class will have you working on Iron X, Aerial Handsprings, and Phoenix as well as, Pegasus Split, Titanic, Chopsticks, Janerio, Russian Split, Dragons Tail, Marion Amber, Flying K, Fonji and many more tricks. Advanced level classes have a focus on difficult combinations, grip switches and drops!

This class will challenge you by trying a variety of your favourite tricks from pole class on an aerial flying pole in a unique blend of pole and aerial arts. Class will focus on the fundamentals of aerial pole, including swinging, spinning and developing spin tolerance. Sexy Acro Chair

Bring out your inner seductress as you learn work the room from your chair. In this class, we will explore new takes on after dark moves as we learn sexy, sensual movement and hot chair tricks to reveal just what’s giving your hips that seductive swing!

This class includes transitions to and from the floor, and lots of chair-specific tricks with sequencing to let your confidence shine!

Heels are optional but knee pads/leg warmers are encouraged!

Hoop - INTRO

Introductory class is designed to help you learn the foundations of working with aerial hoop/lyra. No experience necessary! Classes will focus on entries, exits, single positions and other skills to build confidence in the air, while developing strength and flexibility.

Hoop - BEGINNER

Beginner class is designed to help you develop your foundations of working with aerial hoop/lyra. Classes will focus on single upright and inverted positions and other skills to build confidence, strength, and flexibility.

Prerequisites: None

Hoop - IntERMEDIATE

Intermediate class is designed to help you expand your knowledge of aerial hoop/lyra. Classes will focus on more difficult positions and other skills to build confidence, strength, and flexibility. Classes feature a monthly combination to learn transitions and sequence moves together.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with movements from the Beginner level, be able to invert without assistance, working the top bar comfortably, and have an instructor recommendation to advance.

Hoop - ADVANCED

Advanced class is designed to help you master working with aerial hoop/lyra. Classes will focus on drops, rotations, higher flexibility tricks and other skills and continues building your repertoire as the instructor introduces new moves. Classes feature a monthly combination to develop transitions and sequence moves together.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with movements from the Intermediate level, be able to complete long hang pullups, skin the cat to lever, hands free back balance, single arm hang, and have an instructor recommendation to advance.

Hoop Dynamo

This Intermediate-Advanced class is designed to help you focus on dynamic skills on aerial hoop/lyra. Classes will focus on drops, pops, rolls, rotations and other skills that use energetic and daring movements. A monthly combination trains you to develop transitions and sequence moves together.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with movements from the Intermediate level and have an instructor recommendation to advance.

Hoop FLOW

What makes your body move, and what makes your movement your own? This ALL LEVELS class is a mixture of hoop and dance, guiding students to create their own style. Providing transferable skills in body articulation, technique and movement awareness, to develop individual expression, fluidity and musicality. Intermediate class is designed to help you expand your knowledge of aerial silks/tissue. Classes will focus on more difficult positions, combinations, drops, rotations, and other skills in the air. Classes feature a monthly combination to learn transitions and sequence moves together.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with movements from the Beginner level, be able to invert without assistance, climb, aerial footlock, tucked hip key and front flip (forward roll skin the cat), and have an instructor recommendation to advance.

SILKS - Advanced

Advanced class is designed to help you master working with aerial fabric/silks. Classes will focus on combinations, drops, rotations, higher flexibility tricks and other skills and continues building your repertoire as the instructor introduces new moves.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with movements from the Intermediate level and have an instructor recommendation to advance.

HAmmock - Intro/Beginner

This Introductory to Beginner class is designed to develop the foundations of working in aerial hammock/sling. No experience necessary! Classes will focus on static skills and basic inversions in both open and closed fabric. This is a workout – not aerial yoga(!) – building confidence, strength, and flexibility.

Prerequisites: None

HAmmock - Intermediate+

This class is designed to help you develop skill progressions working with aerial hammock/sling. Classes will focus on combinations and sequences in both open and closed fabric, using climbs, inverts and wraps. This is a workout – not aerial yoga(!) – building strength, and flexibility.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with movements from the Beginner level.

Trapeze - INT+

In a unique blend of aerial bar and aerial fabric arts, this static/dance trapeze class will inspire you by trying a variety of your favourite tricks from hoop and fabric classes on a static/dance trapeze. Class will focus on the fusion of different arts and the unique tricks and sequences available on a static trapeze. Difficulty will increase through incorporation of upright and inverted skills and combinations.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable inverting on aerial hoop with/without toe assistance.

Be Bendy - All Levels

Our stretch class is focused on flexibility and mobility for aerialists.  Classes begin with a warm-up then progress through focused active flexibility paired with dynamic and static stretches designed to increase your range of movement and elongate muscles in your entire body. Using the floor, wall, pole, and a partner for some stretches to get a deeper stretch. A portion of the class is dedicated to improving splits, as well as back and shoulders for those back bending pole moves!

Be Bendy - Online

This virtual fitness class requires limited equipment and will allow you to attend be bendy classes from your home. This class does not require a home pole.

Boot Camp - All Levels

This class focuses on getting you stronger to master your pole moves! Designed to give you a full body butt kick through circuits using your body weight, the pole, a partner and more! Trying to improve or master a specific move? From Inverted V to Iron-X and so much more, try our pole trick circuits to help you build specific muscle groups for targeted moves

Acro Handstands - All Levels

Designed by a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, this class is essential for the student aiming to build strong inverted positions on (and off) an apparatus. The program is based on safe and effective progressions in handstand & hand balancing technique. This class focuses on individual skill progressions for every level and aims to take a beginner from downward dog to freestanding balances!

Acro Tumbling - All Levels

Designed by a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, this class is designed to develop acrobatic tricks on the floor; an essential class for the student aiming to build strong inverted positions on (and off) an apparatus. The program is based on safe and effective progressions in: flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. This class focuses on individual skill progressions for every level and aims to take a beginner from somersaults and basic inversions to advanced tumbling!
