  • We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
    • A well-rounded aerialist with a passion for working with children
    • A dancer versed in various styles, with a passion for heels and pole
    • An aerialist with experience in fabrics
    • A pole dancer with a passion for teaching beginners
  • Instructors are required to complete portions of 3Sixty’s Instructor Mentorship Program as part of the individualized onboarding process.
  • We welcome Pole or Aerial instructors, with previous teaching experience, as well as those with a goal of becoming an instructor for the first time.

      Mentorship Program Details

      Program topics include: class planning, progressive instruction, technical breakdowns, different learning styles, body awareness, injury prevention, troubleshooting, class management, spotting static and dynamic movements, spotting static and dynamic apparatuses, safety inspections, inclusivity, presence, and much more.

      3Sixty’s Mentoring Program utilises spiralized teaching methods, rather than “see it once, know it” approach, you will learn concepts gradually and repeatedly, reinforcing your experience over the course of the program. Throughout the program you will combine class observation, instructor shadowing, weekly mentoring sessions, individual and group training sessions, teamwork exercises and individual practicum. Personal skill development focuses on advancing your skill set within your discipline(s) of choice.
      • This 12 week program is available to aerialists of varying experience levels, with, or without previous certifications.
      • Experience in complementary disciplines (dance, gymnastics, etc) are an asset.
      • 3Sixty supports and recommends instructors pursue accredited certifications, but recognizes there is a gap between learning skills as a student, study of theory in certification, and practical application to leading a studio class.
      • 3Sixty Instructor Mentorship Program aims to ensures you can walk confidently into any class and safely teach students with a fun and engaging atmosphere.
      • All in-class observation and shadowing are in addition to your membership class allotment. Your membership should be used to pursue personal skills training concurrently as you immerse yourself in instructor mentorship.
      • Approximately 3 mentorships will be offered in 2024 with the aim to be hired on as instructors immediately, with teaching hours beginning in early 2025.
      • 3Sixty is proud to note that all past participants have successfully obtained instructor positions in the Ottawa area.

      Financial Details

      • Mentees are expected to have an active membership with 3Sixty during the program to cover the cost of classes attended.
      • A $350 (+HST) program fee is applicable upon acceptance into the Mentorship Program | This program fee is reimbursed at the successful completion of the program and signing of an instructor contract.
      • Includes 12 Week Mentorship Program
      • A maximum of 1 unpaid scholarship is available, enquire for details.

      Time Commitment

      • Weekly class attendance | Unlimited
      • Weekly class shadowing | 2 hours per week
      • Weekly mentorship meeting | 1 hour per week
      • Weekly assignment | 1 hour per week

      Winter 2025 Session Dates

      • January to March
      • Session dates and times to be determined by availability of enrolled mentees
      • Online sessions | Wednesdays or Thursdays
      • In Person sessions | Saturdays or Sundays​
