Tina

I’m an Ottawa-lifer, mom of 2 little girls, and worked a decade in Environmental Engineering. I have always loved exercise. I have over 30 years experience in pole fitness, aerial hoop, aerial silks, gymnastics, and a variety of types of dance.

When I discovered pole dancing, the idea of a fun, flirty, and acrobatic way of exercising got me hooked in the first five minutes! I love that pole & aerial give my body a great workout, and my strength and flexibility continue to improve. 3Sixty classes were the amazing way to reconnect with myself after my pregnancies - I'm in better shape now than I was before having kids!

I am a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, specialized in teaching youth through adults. I maintain certifications and actively volunteer with numerous Pole & Aerial organizations including: CPFA, IPSF/CPSF, CPSAF and PSO. As a long-time instructor, choreographer, coach, judge and now owner at 3Sixty, I look forward to seeing you in my classes and getting you as excited about pole & aerial as I am!

Lyne

I was born and raised in Gatineau, a mom to 2 now-adult daughters, I’m a “Pole Master” – meaning I’m in to 50+ club and still going strong with over 10 years experience in pole fitness!

I became interested in pole dancing in 2006 while watching Oprah. Women of different ages and body types demonstrated and spoke about what pole dancing had done for them. Many of the women said pole dancing brought them more than just a great way to get fit; it gave them self-confidence, and self-worth. I thought to myself: My children are grown, I need to do something for me! I need to get fit, and I don't feel comfortable going to a gym. So I signed up!

Now in my 50’s, I’m 20 pounds lighter, and in the best mental and physical shape of my life! I’ve competed provincially and nationally, and learned to LOVE performing! This could be you! Come join me and start your own personal journey!

Sheena

I’m from a rural farm town near Kingston, I have a Baccalaureate in Communications and a Journalism Diploma from Algonquin College. With over 10 years experience in pole fitness, I also enjoy swimming, hiking, dancing and snowboarding.

I learned about pole dancing at a bachelorette party. Back then I was out of shape and self-conscious about my body. I had tried working out at home but was having trouble staying motivated, while at the bachelorette party I had an amazing time. It was a relaxing, fun, positive and encouraging atmosphere. I was also amazed at how athletic pole dancing is, and how much strength is required to pull off the advanced tricks. I never thought I would be able to do it – but signed up for class anyway and haven't looked back!

Pole has been an amazing experience for me. Since I started, I've lost over 20 pounds and have gained a lot of strength and confidence. I encourage everyone to try it. No matter how shy you are, trust me! I hope you sign up for my class, and I will strive to give you the same great experience I've had.

While I may be from Ottawa, I have the travel bug and love to travel (and train!) all over the world. I have a BA in Environmental Studies & Earth Sciences, and have taken “Leaders in Action”, ‘Strength Fitness” and “Basic Theory” courses certified by the Ontario Fitness Council. I have also certified as a Platinum Level CPSAF Coach.

With over 10 years experience in Pole Fitness, I am a former ballerina, having danced with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet at the NAC, as well as former competitive synchronized swimmer. I spend a lot of my time outdoors hiking, camping, canoeing and kayaking, often with my dogs.

I discovered pole in 2009 with 3Sixty. I picked up the sport quickly and began to compete at the national level in 2010. Since then I have collected numerous titles provincially and nationally, in both singles and doubles. In 2019, I began competing at the world level, attending my first World Championship in Finland. I love pole as it keeps me super fit and I am always challenged as this sport continues to grow and develop.

Caidence

I have my Masters Degree in cognitive neuropsychology from Carleton University. Dance has always been a part of my life, and I have trained in ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and Latin styles.

I discovered pole dance in 2015, and instantly became addicted. Not only is it a fantastic workout, the combination of strength and creativity was both challenging and fun! I started out favouring contemporary and lyrical styles, but branched into exotic pole as a challenge and ending up finding another side of myself. The sexy side of pole had been outside my element, but now I feel out of place without my heels on! If you hear some early 2000s hip-hop blasting in the studio, it’s probably me :)

I started competing in 2018 and have been fortunate to perform alongside numerous incredibly talented athletes. While I have collected many titles, I compete for personal growth, to receive critiques and apply them, to prove to myself I can reach the impossible. I am thrilled to be a part of the 3Sixty team, and I look forward to seeing you all in class!

Gillian

From Ottawa, I have a degree in Human Resources Management from Western. While procrastinating studying for exams in my final year, I came across a video of Jenyne Butterfly’s routine to Dog Days Are Over. I was in awe! I’ve always loved performing growing up, but had stuck to theatre because I have two left feet. Luckily, pole allows me to perform to music without my feet on the ground!

I decided to start Pole Fitness at 3Sixty in 2015. I was hooked! The studio quickly became my second home and it has made me a stronger, and more confident person.

I have never been a fan of exercising, but pole doesn’t feel like work - it’s too much fun! Pole is a sport for everyone. You can find your own style (mine is comedy), and you can train at your own pace. Starting a new activity can be intimidating, but the community and support at 3Sixty will quickly remove any hesitations that you may have. I hope to see you in class so that we can get fit, share a few laughs, and have fun together!

From Toronto, I have a Bachelor of Computer Science, specializing in Network Security. I have always been active, between rock climbing, ballet, west coast swing, hiking, and flipping upside down in acro yoga.

I decided to take the plunge and took my first pole class in 2015. Pole and aerials combine strength, grace, and flow in the very best ways. I love that everyone can bring their own style and personality to each and every movement. And I love that this all takes place in the most supportive and loving 3Sixty community. Everyone cheers for your successes, and supports you through all the hard work that goes into those successful moments.

In addition to our 3Sixty classes, I teach partnered acro yoga. In 2018, I took the Canadian Pole Fitness Association (CPFA) Beginner Aerial Hoop Instructor certification course and obtained my full certification. I hope to see you in class so I can be on that cheering squad for you, and help you feel like a kid climbing a tree again!

Kelsey

Dance and gymnastics have been part of my life, from childhood through to studying dance at York University in Toronto. In my time at school I had the opportunity to learn many styles of dance including: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, and various Ballroom styles. My favourites were Modern and Contemporary!

In 2013, I began working full time as a gymnastics coach and dance teacher in Ottawa. I obtained my Level 1 gymnastics coaching certification and began logging hours for my Competitive 1 NCCP certification. I discovered that I had a passion for teaching on top of my love for dance!

In 2017, I took an administrative day job and was looking for a way to stay active. I tried Pole Fitness and Aerial Hoop and absolutely fell in love. I recently took the Canadian Pole Fitness Association (CPFA) Beginner Aerial Hoop Instructor certification course. I love helping students achieve their goals and celebrate their progress along the way. Welcome to 3Sixty!

Jessica

Raised in Ottawa, I’m a stay at home mother of three, with a degree in Biotechnology. I love to pole, and have been teaching pole since 2007. Teaching at 3Sixty is a dream come true. It's the perfect fitness activity for toning and getting back in pre-baby weight and shape.

The classes are a great escape from the stress of life, and are really fun! I believe every woman and their husband can benefit from pole class! Not only do you build up strength and fitness, but you also feel empowered and in control of your body and your life. Learning to love yourself as you are and being proud of your improvements keep you coming back for more.

Sarah

I was raised in Saint John, NB and completed my university degree majoring in Law. Like many of us, I wear multiple hats; I am a wife and mother, a professional IT Project Manager and a pole fitness and aerial instructor.

I tentatively took my first pole dance lesson with a friend just 10 years ago and was immediately hooked! Pole dancing is fun, sociable, supportive, challenging and rewarding when you finally nail that pesky move that has been eluding you. I started training aerial silks a few years later and found my passion.

Having danced Ballet for 13 years growing up, I love the way aerial silks and pole dancing incorporate the flow and freedom of dance. I love how our classes challenge people to try new things and how happy it makes them when they realize: You CAN do it! Being over 40 I am living proof it is never too late to try something new and to get into the best shape of your life. Come join me and amaze yourself!

Elspeth

From Sudbury, I am a former competitive swimmer, with a degree in Engineering Physics at Carleton University.

In 2016, I decided on a whim to try Pole Fitness. I was hooked! Living in Vancouver, training at different pole studios, I started to find my own niche and push myself further. I, a girl with absolutely no dance experience, fell in love with the stage and wanted to become a dancer.

Coming to 3Sixty was like coming into a close-knit family, that instantly accepted me as their own and celebrated me for who I was. This studio has made me a much stronger, more confident and well-rounded pole dancer (and now aerialist!) and the community always motivates me to push my creative energy further.

I am a dramatic pole nerd! I love putting together wacky shapes, unconventional transitions and character concepts. I have performed & competed numerous times and I’m ready for more! If you see someone running around the studio in an inexplicably dramatic costume or mask, it's probably me! I can't wait to see you fall in love with pole and aerials the way I have!
